Directed by Golden Horse Award and LA Shorts International Film Festival winner HUANG Yun-Hsien, LITTLE HILLY is a symbol of Taiwan itself, where the situation in the global community is not so friendly to Taiwan. This animated short hopes to inspire courage and actions for Taiwan to become a global participant.
Synopsis:
Hilly is a 10-year-old silent Taiwanese girl, nobody was concerned about her depression and the pressure she suffers from everyday life. Hilly hates that she always oppresses herself, and also hates the world controlled by adults. What does Hilly really want to speak out to the adults?
